Eve’s Profile

Eve founded Age-Rite Consulting and Services because she recognized a growing need for assisting families with the challenges ahead of them in caring for aging relatives. She knows from personal experience, the dilemmas and the guilt of not being available for her own elderly parents who live in Montreal. They are in their 80`s and have health challenges which are being handled by her siblings and the services that have been put in place. She recognized with her mom who suffers from Dementia that having the right care would extend the quality of her life. There were several transitions from independent living arrangements, caregivers and finally hospitalization. As an aging Boomer she understands the dilemmas facing the “Sandwich Generation” and the time required in supporting the seniors in their lives. Eve understands firsthand that putting care into place can be a full time job.

Eve has spent over 30 years in executive sales, marketing and administration in the High Tech Industry. Looking ahead to her own future retirement years she chose to take her skills and apply them to an area she is passionate about. She has spent the last year actively networking, researching being involved in the needs of seniors in B.C. Recently she received her CSA designation and actively works for the Canadian Academy of Senior Advisors in promoting courses to professionals and businesses who want to make their services more “Senior Friendly.”
